ASSOCIATE TAX MANAGER

Expedition Tax and Accounting Services, a well-established firm in West Des Moines, is seeking a motivated Associate Tax Manager to join our team.

 

This role is ideal for a recent accounting graduate or a professional with 2+ years of tax preparation experience who is eager to grow their career in an accounting firm.

​

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare individual and business tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail

• Assist clients by identifying tax-saving opportunities and ensuring compliance

• Support audits by organizing documentation

• Research tax issues and contribute to client strategies

• Build strong relationships that encourage client loyalty and growth

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (recent grads encouraged to apply!)

• 0–2 years of tax preparation experience

• Ability to obtain Enrolled Agent (EA) certification within 9 months of employment

• Proficiency with ProSeries and QuickBooks preferred

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and client service skills
